The Panamerican Dengue meeting will hold different opportunities for the young professionals to network and discuss their work with their peers.

Welcome get-together

The first activity for young professionals will be a reception where students and, in general, young professionals will come together for a networking opportunity and to meet their peers and make connections at the beginning of the meeting.

The reception will include drinks. The meeting will be held on Miraflores Locks Visitor Center, Panama Canal from 5:30 pm to the beginning of the inauguration (6:30pm). All young professionals attending the complete meeting are welcome to attend this activity.

 

Lunch with Professors

The Dengue network meeting will hold one ”lunch with a professor/researcher activity”. This activity will give an opportunity to young professionals (students and post-docs) to discuss with a professor/researcher in the field (that they will choose), about science, opportunities in the field, etc.

This Lunch will be held on room SALON ROMA in the 6th floor of Hotel RIU Plaza from 11:51 am to 1:30 pm.

For this specific activity below is the list of professors that will be participating. Interested students and post-docs will have to apply by sending a letter of purpose to catalfonso@gmail.com, indicating what are the expectation from the activity and why they would like to join it. There is room for 30 young professionals.
